Halifax Bunbury CCTV Project

BTS recently completed the Halifax and Davenport industrial area security upgrade in December 2019. This project entailed:

• solution design, installation and commissioning of security lighting across 17 locations
• design and construct of a complete CCTV network across 22 camera sites

This significant project was funded by a $3 million State Government grant and was managed by the Bunbury Geographe Chamber of Commerce and the City of Bunbury.

The project scope required real time streaming of camera footage to WA police facilities and as such significant security protocols were required.

BTS designed a unique solution with:

• dedicated NBN data connections at each host camera site
• each site protected by dedicated Cisco Meraki firewalls and UPS power supplies storage and review capacity

BTS were awarded the project, based on the technical capabilities and quality of our solution, our demonstrated expertise and overall value for money.

BTS was also the only company with in-house resources that could deliver all aspects of the project providing a single point of accountability for the principal.

BTS completed all aspects of the project including:

• lighting
• general electrical
• pole installation
• CCTV install/commissioning
• in house IT services

The project was delivered ahead of schedule and within the original budget.
