SWAMS – Telecommunications Project

The South West Aboriginal Medical Service Ltd (SWAMS) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation, founded on the principles of self-determination, empowerment, and freedom of choice.

SWAMS provides a wide range of services including:

• General medicine
• Chronic disease management
• Midwifery
• Child and maternal health
• Immunisations
• Sexual and reproductive health
• Mental health
• Women’s health services

SWAMS have approximately 290 staff working across 10 sites.

BTS designed and installed a telecommunications solution that was affordable, reliable and scalable as SWAMS continues to grow.
